Casual but "nice" in Western- or mid-Nassau County?

I'm trying to plan a Friday dinner mid-November for about half a dozen relatives converging from all over the country. Exactly which town doesn't matter, but closer to NYC than Huntington would be nice if possible. Looking for someplace relaxed, good food. Chinese, French, Italian, Turkish, Portuguese, Spanish, American, Greek, seafood would all be OK, others too -- probably not Mexican and not steakhouse (I don't eat mammal).

Any (follow-up) opinions on Bistro on Broadway, Hudson & McCoy, Harbour Inn, Fortune Wheel, Harvest Moon? As much as I'm looking forward to trying Mediterranean Cuisine & Pizza, I think it would be too casual for this group, ranging in age from 40s to 70s.
