Hi there,

My family is planning a weekend trip to New Orleans and plan to stop at a few Plantation houses on the way in. Any recommendations for a quick, Cajun (very casual) meal? I'd love something casual but really delicious to get our trip started.

I'd also love any feedback on the rest of our itenary - the kids are 18, 17, 13, and 10.

Friday - Plantation Tour at Nottoway (but was also thinking about Laura - which one?)
A quick peek at Oak Alley and then on to New Orleans.

We are staying at the Le Pavillion in the CBD.
Dinner reservations at NOLA (thought the girls might like this - they love food network)
French Quarter Ghost Tour - any recommendations?

Saturday - Breakfast at Cafe Du Monde
Tour the French Market, Quarter, etc.
Lunch at place across the street from Acme - anyone know the name?
Aquarium, Imax, maybe Insectarium (are my kids too old to enjoy?)
Back to hotel, then oldest son wants to go to WWII museum on his own and girls shop on Magazine
Dinner at Irenes

Sunday am - casual breakfast somewhere
Ideas are:
EAT, Stanleys, Ruby Slipper Cafe, Camilla Grill

Any opinions?
