Hello! I've been doing some research, both on Chowhound on possibly less trusted sites, and need your help. I need to book 2 dinners in Barcelona, on Saturday 10/20 and Sunday 10/21. Both dinners will have 10 professional adult guests (work conference), mid 30's to mid 40's. Some of these guests are foodies and some are definitely not. Because of that, I'm staying away from fine dining/high prices and sticking to casual, mid-priced, local cuisine. My ideal restaurant would be the Spanish version of a French bistro in Paris (obviously local cuisine, not French cuisine!). So far, I am attempting to make reservations at Viana on Saturday and Paco Meralgo on Sunday. I am also looking at the following restaurants as alternate choices, but didn't find much on all of them here:
I tried to make a reservation at Blavis, but it's too small to accommodate the party. I'd like to avoid tourist traps or even touristy parts of town. This group WILL care about wine and alcohol - I don't drink, so I'm not sure how to even start with that!
Anything else I'm missing or should remove from my list?
