Cast Iron Advice

I just bought my first official piece of cast iron........a 12" Lodge pan. Doing the first seasoning, etc., but what sort of advice, best uses of, etc. can you guys give me??
I am a pretty decent cook, but generally use Le Crueset and Calphalon pans on an everyday basis.
