Casa Mia in Jupiter

The previous owner of Ocean Grill on PGA has opened Casa Mia in Jupiter on Indiantown Road just west of the Intracoastal bridge. It's been open for a while now and is in the former location of Marc's Chophouse (Fisherman's Wharf). They have a bar seating area with 4 high top tables and full the menu served. They also have a nice outdoor patio with about 8 tables and a fountain for nice weather days.

All entrees are $20 or under unless it is a special like bronizino. They have an excellent veal scalloppine ($17.95) with wild mushrooms and porcini sauce, grilled gorgonzola and sage polenta. I had an excellent osso buco ravioli, homemade of course. This was probably the best ravioli I have had in a long time. They also have some great thin crust pizzas from $8 to $12 each. The Casa Mia pizza ($8.95) has smoked ham, arugula, parmesan, and fresh mozzarella. All of their food is made with high quality ingredients.

I read an article with Roberto, a co-owner who is originally from Milan, Italy, imports everything he can from Italy. Olive oil, tomatoes, and even the flour. The 3,000 pound oven was also imported form northern Italy. The service is always good and the owners are usually overseeing the entire operation. You will definitely feel welcome here. This is my favorite Italian in the area and it is very reasonably priced.
