Casa Cubana replaces Vo's in Oakland

Walking back home to Adams Point from the free shuttle stop on Grand/Bdway last night I spotted a new sign at the old Vo's. Casa Cubana is going into the location with an added old rusted door in the front for some flair. My peek in the windows didn't reveal any renovations done yet, and maybe there won't be given how the owner's of Vo's described their closing: http://www.eastbayexpress.com/WhatThe...

According to their jobs posting on CL, it looks like a new venture by Sam Duvall and Joe Kohn: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/fbh/5...

Given my relative new-ness in the Bay, I am not sure the quality of Duvall and Kohn restaurants or the state of Cuban cuisine in the Bay (esp East Bay) but I do suppose it's refreshing that it's a cuisine not really found in downtown or uptown Oakland.
