Via Carota on Grove Street in the Village

I can't believe that this doesn't have it's own thread here yet. I'm sure the meat and seafood are excellent (in fact my wife usually has fish) but the range of interesting and well prepared vegetables (only a few of which contain meat or seafood) is wonderful, as is the pasta. Tonight I had an amazingly nettle and ricotta ravioli, that was deliciously green with just a hint of ricotta (okay, and plenty of butter). So good! Also had the fungi and scamorza cheese (each added to the other). The raspberries with zabaglione are a perfect desert.

P.S. I'm a vegetarian. I do see people loving the rabbit and the other meat dishes - I have no reason to believe that they are not as good as the stuff I like.
