Carneros (Napa) Tasting and Snacking Tips

attran99 | Apr 14, 201501:57 PM

Returning to the Carneros region for a day in June. We’re looking to develop a leisurely day of wine tasting. Since this is not our first trip, there isn’t a need to taste at every location. Here’s tentative list of things that we’re thinking of for the day (but not in this order):
1. Adastra (We’re members…a stop here is a must)
2. Sightseeing at Artesa and/or Di Rosa
3. Sojourn Cellars
4. MacRostie
5. FYI – We love reds (Syrahs, Pinot Noirs, and Cabs) and have previously been to Etude and Domaine Carneros in the region.
Any suggestions on how we should organize our day? Also willing to substitute with your suggestions since they were so great last time. Lunch/snack suggestions also appreciated. I know that Boon Fly, Farm, and the Girl and the Fig are highly recommended, but we’re unfamiliar with the area so are not sure of the lay of the land.
Thanks so much!
