Carl's Jr. Breakfast Sandwich - Nah, it's just not that good

rworange | Jul 4, 2006 03:17 PM

Burger, egg, bacon, cheese, home fries all between two sesame seed buns. You would think that had potential. It tasted like nothing.

All I remember was there was too much catsup on top of the homefries ... something visit-specific.

However, I just kept thinking with each bite, why doesn't this taste like anything but ... soft.

Although I don't usually eat at Carl's Jr. just based on their nasty advertising campaigns in the past ... the food doesn't rise above their unpleasantness for me ... after months of driving by and being intrigued, curiousity got the best of me.

It is just not worth the calories or cholesterol.

BTW, 830 calories, 410 from fat, total fat (g) 46, cholesterol (mg) 275, sodium (mg) 1570 ... and if it only had SOME taste ... ANY taste.

As tasteless as their commercials.
