Caribbean Spice - good Curry Roti in Times Square area.

Just had some great Curry Chicken Roti for lunch. Came nicely packaged in 2 containers. The curry chicken had lots of big chunks of chicken so tender it fell apart when I put my fork to it (dish was almost all chicken & curry - lots of white meat, with a little bit of potato.) Curry was slow cooked and rich in flavor with deep yellow/almost green color. Had a bit of oil on top that I poured off. The roti was excellent, freshly made, crisp around edges, very flavorful - with layer/dusting of coarsely ground chickpea flakes and spices. $9.50 = tip, delivered.

Got it from Caribbean Spice (think they're also known as Island Spice) as on 44th St between 9th and 10th (link to menu below). They took a while taking my order, and delivery took about 40 min, but the people on the phone where super nice/friendly (they even called me back later to tell me they were out of the desert I ordered). I think future orders will be quicker as they keep a database of delivery people so next time I'll just need to give them my phone number.

Will definitely order this dish regularly and looking forward to trying more of their dishes (will try their Fried Chicken and Mac and Cheese soon, not a big fan of Soul Fixin's).

I'd practically given up trying to find Curry Roti that has that good home cookin taste that I've had in Caribbean, so I'm pretty happy right now (and full :-)
