A few days ago, I went to Nica's Market in New Haven and encountered a crate full of "cardinal mushrooms." Not knowing a single thing about what to do with cardinal mushrooms, I promptly Google-d it in search of recipes or at least some kind of mycological info. No luck. It's possible that these mushrooms are (a) misidentified, or (b) not naturally-occuring (aka cultivated). Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
