Caramelised banana - chinese dessert

Does anyone know any restaurants (probably chinese) that serves deep fried bananas covered in sugar sirup (not as liquidy as pancake sirup), and you'd have to put the pieces in Ice water before eating it so the sirup would harden? I've had this type of dessert once in some asian restaurant in Toronto but couldn't find it here in Montreal...
