It opened in 2015, and today was the first time we went there. They offer macarons, and croissants,too, but we were there for the patisserie. In the end, we had 3 different types of their (very fine) patisserie: Royal (dark chocolate), 3 chocolates, and Sophie (berry). They are presented, fitting enough, like jewels, in a spare but elegant array inside a glass case. A hit of very fine rich pastry.
As is our preference, these 3 were primarily richly flavored cream-based treats (mousse), rather than a lot of flour-based cake. They are very well put together: a bit of dacquoise nut crunch as a "spine" to the chocolate ones - an extra dimension of both flavor and texture.
Coffee is available, served in paper cups. Service is friendly. Price is about $5 per pastry portion, and is fully justified by the quality of the offerings.
Absolutely on a par - actually better- than similar style bakeries I've been to in London, New York, and Boston. If you're going to have cake (and you will), let it be of this quality.
