Capital Grille Stamford

Ate here last night for the first time in a while. Place was jammed when I arrived at 6:15. Seated at 7, we had a nice booth even though there were just 2 of us. Service was great and we started with a bottle of 2008 Nickel & Nickel wine which I had them decant. Appetizers were the fried calamari with hot peppers and the shrimp cocktail. I do not usually eat fried food, but the calamari was great. Main courses were the Porterhouse and the Tuna steak. Tuna was seared to perfection. My friend mentioned that part of his steak was a bit tough and they brought him an extra Filet no charge. Side dish were the roasted mushrooms which I ate all of.
I will be going back again for sure....
