Another nice place to go for "off-season" special pricing. They serve a $30 3-course Prix Fixe on Thurs - Sun evening. Note: the Prix Fixe menu on Saturday is only available until 5:45.
The restaurant, a converted sea captain's home is located about a block away from the ocean.
I choice as an appetizer the mussels and had the orange and soy roasted half chicken as my entree. The mussels were small, but quite tasty, and were partnered with roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts and corn. I can't remember the last time I ordered roasted chicken at a restaurant; this was served with chunks of orange, fingerling potatoes and sugar snap peas in an light orange butter sauce and was delicious.
My wife ordered a salad and chose the lamb taco as her entree. The taco was served with a smoky grilled cabbage slaw. Although her entree was much smaller than mine, she said she was VERY happy with her choice and would order the same plate again. There was no sharing.
Choice of 4 desserts - we each ordered the creme brulee.
We had a very engaging young lady as our waitress, which made the experience that much more enjoyable.
