My wife and I are planning on going to Gloucester/ Essex/ Marblehead the last week of the month (June).
The Chamber of Commerce said the beaches remain open and that the only clams and certain shellfish in Cape Ann would suffer from "red tide", while local shrimp, lobster and scallops are OK.
Locals---is this accurate? Can it get worse?
Woe is us. We just don't know what to do. Please advise.
