Cantonese Timewarps of Old Miami

OliverB | Jun 10, 2014 09:33 PM

I'm a native East Coaster who spent winter vacations in Miami; my grandparents had an apartment in Hallandale and Hollywood Beach and I spent most of my childhood there. Like most good Jews, we ate out at Chinese restaurants often with family. I'm trying to remember the name of one restaurant that we dined at often, which had a large aquarium in the front entrance way. I recall it had round windows almost like port holes and Oriental style decor. I wonder if anyone here knows what I'm talking about or could tell me whether any of the "Old Miami" Chinese restaurants are still standing?
