Does anyone know how the canned fruit business works?
Do they "can" the annual harvest and warehouse the stock until it's distributed regulary throughout the year? [In other words, they "can" once a year, at peak of harvest.]

Do they "can" on regular intervals throughout the year? [In other words, some cans contain fruit picked at peak season and some cans contain fruit picked off-season (or, before their time).]
