I've never had fresh drumstick vegetable, nor have I seen it available in the areas where I've lived. Intrigued, I picked up a can in a neighborhood Indian market a few years ago, figuring why not for a buck or two. I've discovered it still sitting in my cabinet. I am not a fan of canned green vegetables, and if it's akin to canned green beans or asparagus vs. fresh, i.e., mushy and not remotely like fresh, perhaps not worth it and won't give me a good sense of what drumstick is or can be. Hoping hounds who've had/cooked drumstick can offer an opinion. If I use, it will probably be in a dry curry with another vegetable.
