Restaurants & Bars

From the US to Canada. Exploring Toronto.

Jensi22 | Dec 13, 201509:00 AM     42

Suggestions please. We are a family moving to Canada from the US and will be staying in corporate housing in Toronto for 3 mos waiting to close on our house in King at the end of March. While the hubby is at work and my son is in school I'd like to explore the city daily and find great restaurants and adventures for us to re-visit on the weekends together. We are in our late 40's, my son is 13. I also have a dog that will be my sidekick every day since she is used to a big backyard and would get testy if I left her in an apartment for hours on end. I love great food - all kinds. I love to walk - possibly bring it to a jog. Like to shop but not in malls. Love the outdoors. Need to find a fitness center also. Tell me what to do please!
We are staying near Dufferin and Younge, I think. I know I was able to walk to Grazie restaurant from the apartment last time I was there. Appreciate all ideas. Oh, and I need to make fun friends. :-)
