So Campbell's BBQ was sold . . . and the new owners do not know bbq, or customer service. The portions are smaller, the recipes have changed (or the attention to detail, something's gone horribly awry), and it saddens me to no end. AND, believe it or not, they have chosen not to honor gift certificates! My company bought over $500 in gift certificates for employee holiday gifts, and the new owner apparently doesn't care about customer loyalty. Anybody have any idea what this (or these) joker's experience with restaurants is? I'm just wonderin' what they're thinking. 1) buy an established, fairly beloved 'que joint 2) muck up the food and portions then 3) kick any loyal folks you have left in the butt!
I would forgive and try again once more on the food quality and portion size, but the service aspect just killed me. Right after the holiday season, no less! You'd think they'd at least put a limit on the timeframe.
