Like Hal, I have been in search of places that work for my low-carb diet. I was going to grab some roast chicken in Greektown--"Please hold the potatoes. And the rice. And the bread."
It is SO hard to be good sometimes...
I decided that the Kabob House, just east of the corner of Jackson and Halsted might be a nice change of pace. But from the looks of the things I could see on the steam table (and there were no kabobs there) most of their dishes were pretty saucy. So without knowing how the kabobs would be prepared, I took a pass.
On my way out of the door I noticed that tomorrow's special is "Camel Meat Briyani"--anyone ever try it?
Anyone going to?
And what's briyani, anyway?
