East Side Bar and Grill (a large martini sign with "Pizza & Take out") has opened on Cambridge St. Their menu seems true to their name -- mostly pizza offerings, with some red sauce italian dishes. The appetizer menu is more varied, but also follows a common trend (looks like Joshua Tree). Some folks were looking for more places serving RI Calamari and that is on the appetizer menu. Interior is nicely done in black with bar seating, but the other two restaurants in that location (Puerto Rican and Cape Verdean were also well done inside). I don't have an exact address, but its just before Sixth Street and the fabric store if you are coming from the court house. I probably won't rush to review it.
The Sunset Cafe (portuguese restaurant) is offering a flat price lunch buffet in June (I think Mon-Sat, 11-2). Its $9.95 including a drink and dessert. Sounded like they would be changing the offerings daily, but have both Portuguese and Italian.
Not certain if anyone has been to the Atwood Tavern, but its been open for awhile in the Overdraught space. I wasn't hungry when I was there, but their menu did look interesting (black angus dog, meatloaf, southern fried chicken along with duck quesadillas and pan roasted cod). Should be a good spot to watch the world cup.
