I'm a frequent visitor of Cambria and have posted here before. I'll be celebrating a big birthday (gulp) and wondered if Black Cat Bistro who apparently lost their chef is still good. Has anybody gone to Madeline's that opened in Sergio's old spot?
My constant standby is Robin's - love, love, love their interesting ethnic food and is always consistent. Sow's Ear menu has never looked interesting to me and the one time I ate there I wasn't impressed. The white and brown dough baked in the mini-flowerpots tasted like shades of Wonderbread - sorry...
It's such a shame that such a beautiful, unspoiled coastal town doesn't have more choices in their dining. I've tried almost all of the restaurants in town and can count on less than one hand those that I would return. I'd rather get a good tri-tip at Main Street Grill. I've yet to try Taco Temple in Morro Bay. But they get raves on this board and when I peeked inside one visit - their menu looked very good.
So any other suggestions???
