There is one thing and one thing only I like about Dutch food and it's not haring but a pate called something like calvesvlees-- it's the consistency of liverwurst and I think it's made from raw veal? I haven't been able to find it in the US and would love to know more about this product. A mail-order or Los Angeles-based source would also be wonderful.
I guess I like oud genever too. Is that available here?
