Calphalon Tri-Ply vs. All-Clad Stainless Vs. AC Copper Core

Anyone have experience with both brands? Looking for a simple 10" fry pan, stainless not non-stick....and I'm curious the real noticeable cooking difference between the two Calphalon (try-ply stainless) and All-Clad stainless line.....and then I three the AC Copper Core in there because I'm just interested in the differences between the Copper core and the other two.

The calphalon tri-plys seem to be about 30-40% less than the all-clad stainless and both have tri-ply.....

I impulsed bought a Calphalon Tri-Ply saute 5qt, and while it wasn't cheap, 180$, the all-clad equivalent was 300$ish....is it really an "equivalent" and will I just be paying for the name?
