Calories/nutrition in soup vs. soup chicken

JugglerDave | Dec 12, 2005 06:17 PM

The Bride & I made some delicious chicken soup yesterday, with cilantro, garlic, saffron, ground ginger, as well as the usual carrots, celery, & other spices.

We were wondering, what is the nutritional value of the very-boiled chicken taken out of the soup, versus the actual soup stock?

One site gives the exact same 'calorie count' for boiled vs. roast chicken. That doesn't seem right, surely some of the protein & fat goes into the stock?

Anyone know?
