I am trying to find a recipe to duplicate some awesome bread I bought at whole foods. Is is imported from Germany and is therefore costly. The ingredients lead me to believe I could make it home but so far I have not ventured too far from the basics (traditional wheat, sweet egg breads and french baguettes)
The bread I want to duplicate is Mestemacher Fitness Bread. Ingredients: rye kernels, water, oat kernels, wholemeal rye flour, iodized salt, wheat germs, oat fiber, yeast. Does anyone have a similar style/flavor bread they have made before?? I would love to try my hand at it.
