It's called WHAT?!?!

For those in the Glen Burnie area, you may be aware of the Korean restaurant on Ritchie Highway, across the street and a bit south of Le Fountain Bleu - right across the street from the new Cafe Amore, which by the way,you should try, if you haven't already. The Korean place used to be called "Blue Garden" or something like that, but it was taken over by new management a while back.

Since then, whenever I've wanted to tell people abot the place, I've been at a loss to tell them the name. The sign just has a rear view of a cartoon duck shaking it's butt, and the name in Korean - no English translation.

I finally got curious, and asked a friend who has a Korean wife to give me a translation. It turns out that my previous description of "look for the sign with the duck shaking its, um, butt" was pretty darned accurate. The name (phoenetically converted into our alphabet) is "Ori kundaengi", which my friend's wife tells me means roughly translates to "swinging duck butt". If anybody has any clue why one would name a restaurant that, please let me know. My friend's wife was at a loss - it wasn't based on any story, pun, or colloquial expression that she knows of.

Aside from that, I would recommend the place to Chowhounds of the "if I'm the only one speaking English, it must be the real deal" school of ethnic restaurant connoiseuership. I just had dinner there two nights ago, and was once again impressed with both the food and the value. I can eat really well there for $15 or less, and for a person of fairly prodigious appetite, that's a notable bargain.
