Calcium in Total Yogurt

marcia | Aug 4, 2005 01:44 PM

I really like Total yogurt, as yogurt goes, but I eat yogurt because it's good for me. According to the its label, plain, nonfat Total yogurt has far less calcium, ounce for ounce, than other plain, nonfat yogurts I look at (Stonyfield, Horizon, etc.)

Does anybody know why? On taste and texture alone, I'd rather eat Total, but if I'm bothering to eat yogurt, I want my calcium, dammit!
