Boudin (cajun boudin blanc) is typically a hard find in the local supermarkets...especially when you have the yearning for some. So, you can imagine my thrill when Juan of "Canales Meats" located in Eastern Market said they carry boudin. This is a real coup. The boudin came in a 3 link frozen package (1 lb) shipped from a Lafayette, LA company. After thawing out, they went on the grill to heat up...the grill makes the casing crispy...and wow, I hit me a 100....beaucoup delicioux!

Cold beer + hot boudin = good company
