Cajun Creole festival, jazz and blues in Simi Valley, saturday and sunday, how's the food there?

kevin | May 29, 201004:56 PM

Did anyone go earlier today or in years past, it's located at park in Simi Valley (sounds like a very junior version of Jazz Fest in New Orleans).

Anyhow, the important chow details, hows the food there? What dishes are they serving up and how much is it going to cost me? (there are no dishes listed on the website, nor prices, just the fact that tickets will run you 18 bucks per person to enter the festival).

I'm hoping it's not hot dogs and hamburgers, maybe home-cooked gumbo, and other dishes? If you guys provide some promising details, I'll definitely probably go and report back.

thanks.
