My husband, his sister and I tried this little restaurant today for lunch. It is in a very industrial area of Scarborough on Manville road, but is a bright, clean and comfortable place with awesome food. We shared 3 appetizers: hush puppies, fish cakes and Jalapeno cheese poppers. They were tasty, crispy and came with awesome dipping sauces. The flying fish was very fresh and fried in a crisp coating of ? corn flakes? The cajun chicken a delicious and generous portion. Rice and peas were good, but the sweet and sour stir fried veggies were oustanding. My husband ordered a piece of lemon poppy seed cake for dessert which was the highlight of the meal. It was so fresh that it was still warm from the oven. A lovely lemon glaze made it all the more enticing. The friendly chef and server made this a wonderful experience. I intend to go back next Saturday when they will have live jazz.
