Cafe at Zellerbach Hall (UC Berkeley)?

Bay Gelldawg | May 4, 201709:30 PM

I would like to hear from anyone who has recently eaten at the cafe at Zellerbach Hall prior to a Calperformances event.

I am attending one soon and plan to have dinner with friends at the cafe beforehand. There are horror stories on Yelp about the cafe running out of food and not serving people until minutes before showtime.

I have made a reservation, but it seemed very casual when I called. All reservations are for the same time - 6:30.

What should I expect when I arrive? Will my group of six people have a table for six reserved for us?

The quality of the food doesn't matter. A sandwich is fine, as I don't want a heavy meal before watching a ballet. My concern is the service. Any tips or stories based on recent visits would be appreciated.
