Cafe Verde in Pasadena

I was running errands around Pas yesterday and happened on this cute small restaurant on Green Street. Cafe Verde has a great menu of soups, salads, sandwiches and other entrees with a southwestern/mexican touch. I had a special pan roasted salmon w/ chipotle cream sauce served w/ roasted vegetables. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the sauce was to die for! If I wasn't low-carbing it, I would definitely get one of their great looking sandwiches. What caught my eye was the grilled shrimp sandwich w/ salsa verde and the roast beef san w/ gorgonzola and mushrooms.

The have brunch on Sundays and that menu looked fantastic too! Nice mix of traditional continental fare w/ southwest/mexican cuisine.
