cafe moto in williamsburg - yum

had a really nice dinner at cafe moto last weekend. we were with a pretty big group and hogged up a lot of space and time, without feeling rushed. Anyway, everything was quite tasty. we got lots of apps, and the only one i would have passed on would have been prosciutto and melon. kind of blah. but the mussel soup was excellent (a puree!), the moto salad was great. Also had warm lentil salad, artichoke, feta antipasto type thing, all of which were enjoyable. The mains get a little fuzzy because we, well I, was drinking lots of wine...but my chicken was pretty good, a little dry. I am pretty sure, again the fuzzyness, that everyone else liked their food. Dessert I do remember, warm doughnuts and warm date cake. both were fabulous, but I was too full to really enjoy. and at the end a flamingo group came in and started playing and that was also quite nice. Oh, and I liked to space quite a bit, nothing particular just simple.
