After all of the raves on this board we decided to give it another try last night. Part of the reason I think I'm not thrilled as most people is I have a food allergy which significantly limits what on the menu I can actually eat. I'm allergic to dairy. Yes, that means all cheese (made with cow's milk), milk, cream, and butter.
My husband had the lasagne and was quite pleased with it. I tried the sirlon steak which they prepared w/o the gorgonzola cheese. It was quite good along with the brushetta and shoestring potatoes. My hang up is still the bread is below average and our bill with no starters or dessert and one glass of wine was over $50. Seems like a lot for neighborhood Italian where I can wear my jeans.
So it is good, but still not the best Italian in the city imho.
