Cafe Graikos short review

I love this place! It bills itself as a Greek & vegetarian restaurant.

It is at the corner of Tampa and Rinaldi, up by the 118 in Northridge next to Whole Foods.

The food is fresh and light, prepared with a sure hand. I had a mezethes sampler with a lemony chopped spinach, a pomegranate-walnut dip, skordalia (mashed potatoes flavored with garlic and colored green with herbs), and baba ghanoush, with a huge basket of pita, and I ate almost all of it by myself.

Their veg items are numerous and clearly-marked, but they also have many meat dishes.

Casual dining, entrees from $10 to $15, lunches $7 to $10.
