Cafe Chloe--revisited

El Chevere | Jan 20, 2006 12:57 PM

Greetings:

Went back to Cafe Chloe last night and will revisit my comments...I did very much enjoy my meal last night...ordered the steak and frites...do not recall them offering a small salad on the plate the last time I ate here several months ago, but they do now...had a light bleu cheese dressing (which I am generally not a fan of, but this one was quite good and not overpowering)....steak came out fine and while I did not leave stuffed, I did not leave hungry either. Had a chocolate pudding for dessert that was excellent along with an espresso. Wine offering by the glass was OK (quantity was good...red wines were young and/or had slight tannic aftertaste--finally settled on a 7 year old Pinot). With a change in heart, would recommend this restaurant...ended up checking out 57 Degress wine bar afterwards for the first time, just up the street--would definitely recommend this place (no food offered, but an excellent wine selection and helpful staff).
