Ate there last night after seeing it written up in several magazines. Very nice room, service was friendly if not very polished, but the food was a major whiff. The one very good dish we had was the crab torta, a very "crabby" crabcake unencumbered by the overbreading and overflavoring we have found at other restaurants, although at $20 it was certainly not underpriced. We also had a burrata and heirloom tomato salad with vegetables. The burrata was fine, the tomato was not heirloom, and the vegetables were not top notch. At $18, this salad was way overpriced. For entrees, we ordered a flatiron steak and the "kobe style" hamburger. The steak was fairly flavorless and the hamburger was downright mushy and oversalted in the extreme. A potato dish that came with the flatiron was greasy and gelatinous. With two glasses of wine our bill came to $115, overpriced by at least half. Won't be back anytime soon.
