won for the birthday luncheon (31 August). Thanks for the heads-up on the Restaurant Week lunch price, which made it more palatable. The whole experience was very, very good; just short of sensational. Despite being right before Labor Day weekend, it was still crowded. The wine list was revelatory. The food preparation is thorough and subtle. Highly recommended.
