Cafe Bollywood (Bellevue)

Inhabiting the space adjacent to Garlic Crush (formerly occupied by the inexplicably long-lived Casa D's) is a new-ish no-frills Indian place. One orders from the counter, and is wastefully served with mostly disposable plates/utensils. I ordered veg. combo, which is a choice of two vegetable and 1 dal curries, rice, very good butter naan and raita. The channa pindi is something I've not tried before and featured an interesting fenugreek flavor; bhaigan bharta was unexceptional. Raita is not the familiar cucumber/mint version, but funkier with a black salt taste, new for me. I'd like to go back on a weekend for the Chicken Chaap, apparently a Kolkatta speciality.
