I really want to love this place, nice owners, warm welcome, good service, charming ambiance with the tables outside in the sun for lunch. But the food was disappointing and wanted to find out from other hounds what their experience was. I had tripes maison (way too peppery), my partner had cassoulet which was dry and while I know that there is no ONE cassoulet, this really needed a garlicy fatty sausage chunk or two in with the not very well flavored duck leg, to bring the dish together. OK salad (and large) but the dressing was plopped on and we had to ask for it to be tossed. I was heady from seeing the home made pates (Pate de campagne and an another one plus a head cheese with parsley) and I ordered a whole one of the later and a chunk of each of the pates. All disappointing and not much flavor when we tried them at home with cornichons and various mustards. My son who is enamored of charcuterie said they need a lot of fixing up. Maybe we ordered wrong.
