Cabrito? Greek? Houston

Yes I ordered cabrito today at Alexander the Great Greek. Cabrito at a Greek joint? Well its actually called something else like katsikatsi or something. It was a couple of huge bone on chunks of expertly seasoned goat served with a goat cheese of some kind and roasted potatoes. The meat was seasoned with salt, oregano, parsely, and olive oil all for $13. $13 for lunch for me is almost double what I would spend on an expensive lunch on a normal day but this was well worth it and I would gladly pay $16 (I have no idea what the price is at dinner) or so at dinner for the dish. In fact the goat here is better than El Hildueguense even on a saturday night. And on weekend night ATGG is just as fun with all the music and dancing, I would suggest to dine no earlier that 8pm on the wekends in order to have as much fun as possible.
My father had the baby (despite its name it was a good size filet) snapper dish that I was able to get 1 bite of and can tell you that it was excellent as well and the $13 price tag was well worth it.
Sure the service at this place can be a little off, but I could care less because IMO it is Houstons best tadting Greek restaurant.
