BYOB suggestions and a Philadelphia liquor store rant

I'm looking for a really good, relatively inexpensive BYOB with great atmosphere. I've been to and love Rosalinas on the 1600 block of Passyunk ave. Also, Adens which I liked better in the past than I do currently. I've never tried little fish though I hear good things about it.

Now for my rant... I hate the state liquor stores! It's ridiculous that in a city with so many good BYOB's we should be left with minimal choices of large run wines like woodbridge and mondavi. I have to go to Jersey or Delaware to get anything decent and even that's against the law. So my question would be, does anyone here have some good wine suggestions for wines that are available in the state store? Also, has anyone tried any of the PA vinyard shops like the one in the Italian market and the one on fourth off of South street?
