Buying Halloween Candy: How Soon is Too Soon?

Every year I have to buy candy to hand out to the trick or treaters. Every year I play a game of chicken with myself. If I buy the candy too early, I know that I will eat a lot of it, because, chocolate! So, I try to buy it as late as possible.

I've never been able to wait until the morning of the 31st. Usually I get it on the 30th. And, sadly, because I have no will power, there is usually some loss.....
