We're out of olive oil. I have no idea what we were using before - something one of us brought to the new apartment in the move. But it seems I haven't bought olive oil in ages - the choices were really overwhelming when I tried to buy some at Berkeley Bowl.
I'd love a recommendation for a good olive oil - just for cooking with, not for dressing or finishing, that is a good value.
Can anyone help? We shop at Berkeley Bowl, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, etc... I'd also be happy to try one of the "boutique" ones I've seen mentioned on this board, but I really want something pretty inexpensive to cook with, so that might be a waste!
