Where to buy LARGE ravioli in the Bay Area?

midwesterner | Jan 2, 200508:00 PM     7

I grew up in Chicago eating my Italian-American family’s ragu, always served over large cheese ravioli, about 3 inches square. There are several places to buy this kind of ravioli in Chicago, but despite much searching, I haven’t located a source in the Bay Area. I live right near Lucca in the Mission, but unfortunately their ravioli (about 1 inch square) isn’t what I’m looking for. I’m also not the best ravioli-maker, so I’d rather buy premade frozen ravioli (but again, it must be the BIG kind) and focus on cooking the sauce from scratch.

Any suggestions on where to buy large ravioli? I’m willing to drive pretty far out of San Francisco is necessary!
