I have had the opportunity to eat many types of Russian caviar over the years, primarily Beluga, Sevruga and Ossetra. I've had a lot of caviar in NYC at Petrossian, Caviar Russe and Caviarteria in the day. Now I'm told that there are a lot of farmed sources for sturgeon caviar that may compete favorably with the caviar that I used to love. Can anyone direct me to any of the US producers or importers of these products? I'm hoping to save some money over the products currently offered online by companies like Petrossian. Just to be clear, I'm looking for large, black egg sturgeon caviar, not salmon roe or supermarket products. Thanks for the help.
