Do not buy this dishwasher

MargaWJ | Oct 8, 201609:14 AM     5

This brand new dishwasher (model number PDT750SMF8ES) was installed in May of 2016 in our new kitchen. Since we were not getting clean dishes, we contacted GE. By this writing in early Oct. we have had a GE serviceman come 3 times. We have been told that there is nothing technically wrong with the appliance. On each GE visit we have gotten different advice on using the dishwasher, (dishes placement, use of soap, etc.) all of which we have followed. STILL after a nearly 3 hour cycle (using GE's latest recommendation of "boost temp power dry" settings,) about a dozen dishes emerge with food scum and water marks. GE has indicated that it will not allow us to swap out this dishwasher at our appliance store for a different (non GE) model. By writing this we want to warn anyone who is shopping for a dishwasher to avoid this model.
